Crochet Ruffle Scarf

I made this as a gift for a certain mother-in-law who looks very pretty in blue and I think might like ruffles.  This is a very simple pattern, it takes under an hour to crochet these fun ruffles so you could totally whip one out today for your MIL too!

Since this crochet scarf pattern uses about half a skein of yarn it only costs around $2.50 so it fits into our under $5 category.  If you’re into ruffles it could make a nice addition to your hot mess mommy wardrobe.  Get the pattern after the jump!
I used Lion Brand Homespun Yarn in Lagoonand a size 10.5 crochet hook.

DC= Double Crochet

Ch 120, turn
Row 1: Ch 3, DC into 4th ch from hook, DC into each chain (120 DC total), turn
Row 2: Ch 3, 2DC into each stitch (240 DC total), turn
Row 3: Ch 3, 2DC into each stitch (480 total), turn
After completing row 3, turn it so it’s still facing you but the foundation chain is at the top.  Ch 1, then SC into each stitch up the side (5 sc), SC all the way across the foundation chain, and SC down the other short side (5sc)
Slip Stitch and weave in ends

What I meant to write was:I've been looking FOR this pattern. Thanks, even I should be able to make this!

I have a yarn addiction and I can't wait to make this scarf. It looks like the perfect thing to brighten up a dreary mommy outfit. Your projects are all awesome, I am glad I have subscribed.

I made this scarf and it turned out a little too short. The next time I will increase the length. Easy pattern though, thank you!
