The Bias tape machine looks incredible. I would love one. Jaime, I'm right with you on the laundry folding machine. Laundry is my most hated chore of all and with a Three year old and a 9 month old I am swamped with it. Wouldn't life be grand if there was a machine where I could just dump all of my laundry into and it came out the other side washed, Dried, and folded (Heavenly!). Is the entry closed July 9th at midnight? It says June.

I would love a machine that cuts out sewing patterns. I hate cutting them out, it takes so long! Maybe they should sell already cut patterns, I would totally buy them!

I need an invention that cleans the bathroom. This is a task that I really seem to hate and put off until absolutely necessary. The rest of the house cleaning energizing, but bathroom cleaning is a soul-sucking endeavor at my house.

Thanks for the giveaway!

This machine is so cool and already on my Amazon wishlist. Dinner time needs simplifying in my life right. We try to cook and eat as a family so we don't have much time before the baby goes down for the night. It's so hectic. So, I'd love a dinner-making machine (and I already have a crock pot – I want a machine with more variety!).

Ohh! How cool is that?!? It sure would make MY life simpler. That, plus a remote robot vacuum cleaner thingy to suck up all the cheerios and mega blocks my son leaves on the floor.

I agree about the laundry thing, but I would also like something that does all of my four girls hair for church on Sunday mornings so I don't have to stress about that.

I would love to have a machine that does both my hated chores; the dreaded cat litter and laundry (although not at the same time). Any machine that can do that, I'd pay a pretty penny for!

I just had a baby boy and clothes organization (my own) is my top priority. Somehow my husbands' and my own laundry never quite make it to the closet where there are plenty of hangers and a dresser. Perhaps I need to make the closet a beautiful place too. Then I'll actually want to open the doors! My husband and I have worked hard to make the rest of the house beautiful and liveable, but our own bedroom is pure chaos. I'd like a genie or fairy of some kind to come and clean it up. Once a place is clean, decorating and organizing it is a cinch… it's that cleaning part that gets me down. πŸ™‚ As part of that organization, part of the bedroom will become a project area in which I'd LOVE the Bias Tape Maker. I added it on Amazon a while ago after reading your blog about its glory. πŸ™‚ I need to make some good baby boys' clothes…

I would say that I don't like switching the laundry from the washer to the dryer…weird right? Anyways, I have always wanted to invent a basket that fits in the washer and is removable so that I can dump all the wet clothes at once into the dryer….I bet there is even something like that out there…I just cant afford it:)

I need a dishwasher that loads itself. I don't know why, but dishes always end up piling in the sink instead of being loaded as we go, so I'm stuck with a full sink until I work up the motivation to touch the whole batch of nasty dishes.

I'm 13 weeks pregnant, and my husband and I are desperately trying to finish our basement so we can move the things in the spare bedroom down there and create a lovely nursery upstairs….only things keep getting worse. We found severe termite damage in our house, which has delayed everything! I would simply like a simple device that can fix the termite damage and continue finishing our basement, so that I am not a hugely pregnant woman trying to finish a nursery!!! Whew. I need to go lay down now…

Thank you Prudent Baby and Simplicity for letting me blow off a little steam! With the time consuming house situation, a bias tape maker could make sewing little baby items easier and faster!!!!

I know this would spell disaster for the human race, as most sci-fi movies have predicted, but I would so take a robot to clean/be my butler. With two dogs, two cats and a toddler in a bungalow, it's an ongoing battle to keep the floors even relatively clean.

With two kids under 3, there are so many things in my life to simplify. If I had to think of one thing, I want a machine that takes care of clothes and dishes that need to be hand washed. I don't mind (albeit don't want to make a career of) doing laundry or putting dishes in the dishwasher, but the hand wash stuff kills me.

And even then, I'm lucky if I'm able to stay up past 9.

While skimming through the comments, I love the one that seems to keep popping up…a machine that cuts out the pattern as well as the fabric. Ugh, that takes up so much time for me, that it's hard to get motivated to sew. That would make my crafts so much simpler for me!

We just moved to a new house. We have a 4 year old and a 1 year old. I need a machine to come to my house and 1) make my children sleep so I can get rest and 2) unpack and re-organize all our stuff to fit into this new space.

I would want a machine that changed the poo poo diapers. Also floors that swept, mopped and vacuumed themselves. It gets really tedious doing it 3 times a day because of 3 little ones.

I would love a machine that would move for me – I am in the midst of a move right now and could use the help!!

I hate dishes! I want a machine that takes them from the table to the dishwasher and then pops them onto the shelves. While I'm feeling adventurous this lovely invention could also set the table…but why stop there?

How can I choose? I need a machine maid, that does everything- dishes, laundry, mops, sweeps, etc.. I can just relax and spend time with my family. Does that make me sound lazy? πŸ™‚

I would love someone to invent something to scoop kitty litter for me. The suckiest job ever. I thought I married one, but he later turned out to be defective and his mother doesn't want him back.

I need a machine that would follow the spouse and kids around and shock them every time they don't put something away. Not actually pick up for them, they need to learn to do this for themselves without the constant reminders!

I want a machine that sews up my knitting when I'm done with all the pieces. I have three projects stuck at the finishing stage right now, and that's not a record.

I would love to have something that would just pick up the stuff that my children leave all over the floor: clothes, toys, papers, lovies, ect. They are like Hansel and Gretel leaving a trail of bread crumbs all over the house.

PS- I am so crushing on that bias tape machine!

We have a brand new baby in the house, our oldest is only 13 months. There isn't anything in our lives right now that couldn't use simplifying. I'm sewing as fast as I can, summer dresses for our toddler sleep sacks and swaddles for our baby. I need a robot that will pre-wash and iron all my fabric for me, and then go make dinner.

Ok, so super redundant, but really, with a 3 year old and an 11 month old who adores blueberries and anything with marinara sauce, it seems like there should be something to simplify the laundry situation altogether. Who knew laundry would get all crazy exponential with just adding a 2nd kiddo?

I woiuld really like some kind of toy sorter! My kids just put all little pieces, legos, barbie shoes, blocks, puzzle pieces, play food, etc. all in the toy box. I try to keep all the pieces to each toy together. But who has time to sort through them daily? So, I'd like a magical sorter and when it's time to pick up you put the small pieces and odds in and it sorts them into the right storage bins. Kinda like a change sorter! Okay so for sure what I need to simplify my life would be some sort of device that stays under my daughter's bed. That way when she is told to clean her room which to her means stuff everything under her bed. My under the bed device would just blow everything right from under there and right back into her arms, so that she would have to put it back in its place where it really belongs. Why not blow it directly into where it belongs you might be asking…well this was about simplifying my life not hers, right? Plus she needs to learn to clean!
