A Prudent Baby!

We have been keeping a little secret from y’all for a few months… we’re having a BABY here at Prudent Baby! Baby Boneau #3 is due January 11th. I’m sleepy, soooo sleepy so be prepared for 6 more months of projects that take under 5 minutes.

SO, what should we name it? Leave a comment with your favorite boy and girl name, but don’t be mad if I steal it and don’t be mad if I don’t tell you the name before it’s born, I’m totally annoying like that. But we do plan to find out the sex this time, if only so you will be inspired to send handmade gifts. I’m not kidding, send handmade gifts.

The photos are a side-by-side comparisons of Clare and Quinn at 1 day old. Isn’t it crazy how much they looked alike?Aren’t babies so cute?

Congratulations!!!! What wonderful news! How amazing that your first two looked so alike! Hmm as for names, I'll just tell you our girls' names (Sophie and Sarah) and what we would have picked for boys (Thomas and Christopher). Sophie was my grandmother's name and all other names we just liked.

Wishig you a happy and healthy pregnancy!

Congratulations! It is amazing how similar your kids looked.

This is a girl name that I don't think I'll ever use but that I recently came to love: Piper. Boy names are a challenge at this point because I have already named 2 boys of my own, but I really like Jonah.

Congratulations!! How exciting! Quinn and Clare are soooo adorable, I'm sure #3 will be just as cute 🙂 I'm hoping it'll be a boy so you can start adding more boy stuff tutorials!! 🙂

I love the names Jude and Zach. 🙂

I lean toward top 20 names, but with names like Claire and Quinn, it looks like your lean towards names that are a little less popular, but not crazy hipster names. I like them. In fact, I'd use names like that too, but my hubby nixes them fast. So, some names that I can never have:
Girl: Charlotte, La(y)ne, Kate; Boy: Quinton (I know, it probably doesn't work when you already have a Quinn, but I like it!), Kyle, Ryan, Blaine

YAY THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG!

I don't really have any fav boy names.

I like really old names so I go to the social security website for 1900 and 1920's. My daughter is Edith and our adopted daughter will be named Eloise. I love Edwin. Elliot. (see a theme) ahha. But I also love Matilda (tilly), Eleanor, Floyd, Ralph, oh I could go on and on. 🙂 I can't wait to see what you go with.

yea! COngrats! I have an 18 mo old cutie named Thomas (we call him Tommy) and he is named after my Dad. Such a strong, classic name! That is my pick for a boy name. As far as girl names go, I think Celia is cute- I know it looks like Cecilia, but is a nice alternative. My husband vetoed that one when we had Tommy (we didn't find out gender) and I was bummed…

Congratulations! I'm having my second baby in October! 🙂 My 16 month old daughter's name is Saffron and we're having a boy and calling him Hugo. If we were having another girl we were going to call her Wembley (yes, like stadium and the Fraggle). We also liked India for a girl too.

My baby girl is Julia, but I also liked Jacqueline and Amelie. If Julia had been a boy, she would've been Jasper or Felix (that is if my hubby didn't have a say).

I am so excited for you! I am going to hope you have a boy. I know, I know, girls are awesome, but boys are so much fun. And really easy. And dirty. But the easy part makes up for the dirt. My son's name is Zachary which I think is a lovely name. Congrats!

I have a 14 month old named Haeden. If I had another boy I would go with Levi. I also like Jonah. And for a girl… I liked Haleigh and Sophia, although both are quite popular these days. And if you like unique, my name is Hesper and I get a lot of compliments!

Congratulations. I really enjoy your blog. Best of luck with #4. I'll share my son's name, in part because we really liked the name Quinn too, so perhaps we share similiar likes. And because I'm obviously partial to his name: Walton.

Not Just A Mommy!

Congrats! Oh my, they DO look like twins. My little one looks EXACTLY like his dad did when he was little, receding hairline and all!

I love the idea of finding names similar to your own for your kids. The actors Will and Jada Smith named their kids Willow and Jaden ad I thought that was the coolest! My and my husband's names are Jason and Dawn, we named our boys Jaden and Jawan. If Jaden was going to be a girl, he would have been Jada. 😉

Oh congrats Jacinda! I'm so very happy for you and your growing family! Clearly you produce some stunning girls, so I'm going to add to the list of baby names with these suggestions–although I know you'll pick something as beautiful as the baby.

I like the name Marigold for a girl.

But wouldn't it be funny if you came up with some sort of crafty name–like Singer for a boy. Hee hee! Rowan makes me think of Rowan yarn. Whatever you choose I know will be perfect perfect perfect!

I have identical twin girls and their names are Charlotte and Ruby-Jane..
We could not decide between Ruby and Jane and decided to put them together.. though we get lazy and call her Ruby..

Or Charlie and Edmond..
I love Maebelle as well… and Maude…and Maggie…Oh I could go on…

Congrats on your pregnancy…
I am sure whatever name you do pick will be perfect!
