"FRIDAY"{SURPRISE} PRIZE

We are going to do this a day early because we have too much fun stuff planned for tomorrow!

Well, I guess I have a soft spot for fat-quarter poetry. Plus, how could we not give Sandi’s fabric to Sandy.
Could it be the hormones? This made me tear up a little. Our first Prudent Baby verse…

Sandi’s pretty fabric is calling my name
Make an apron from a fat quarter?
Sure, I’m game!
I’ll trim it up with some rick rack maybe
and end up with a beautiful gift
all thanks to Prudent Baby!

Sandy – Use the contact us form to send us your address and we’ll get this pretty little number in the mail. You have 5 days to claim your prize! And if you do make that apron, please send us a photo!

OK, so for this week. You know the drill. Leave a comment on any post from now til next Friday and you could win the charming Alexander Henry fat quarter pictured above, which you might recognize from the PJ Pants. I love this palette! It actually goes perfectly in my green living room. The winner could make me a pillow. No pressure. A pillow with dark brown pom-pom trim. I’m just saying.

Sometimes I look at the Alexander Henry Fabric and think, "I married the wrong guy. I want the fabric designer." Ok – my Google search just taught me that it is just a company name. Good thing I don't have to break up my marriage over some fabric!

LOVE the fabric! The biggest problem I think I would have would be trying to find just one project for it! I'd want to use it on so many!

Doesn't Alexander Henry have designing in the bag with this one! Seriously LOVE that green. I think I would have to use some of it on the Beginner's Bias Tape Bag (I am in the process of making 2 right now – my first ever sewing project!!!). I am developing a serious addiction to yummy fabric. đŸ™‚

Love the fabric!

And it just so happens I poem popped up in my head.

Fat Quarter, Fat Quarter
What do I make of you?
A pillow? or doll?
Or maybe some shoes?
Come to my house and we'll see what we'll do!
I'll love you and wash you and make something good!

I love this fabric!!! It would be perfect for a pillow in my bedroom. We are remodeling our home and our bedroom is receiving a face lift. This fabric would go with my new wall color. đŸ™‚

That print is gor. Geous. Do you happen to have two of those beauties lying around? I would be happy to make two "pillows with dark brown pom-pom trim". One for you and one for me. Oooh, its like Christmas already!

This the color I am SO into right now! That shade of green is stunning. Seriously. My daughter is in an outfit at this very moment in that exact color. Now I need that fabric to make myself something to match. Maybe that fat quarter apron…mmmmm? Just sayin'.

Gorgeous colors! They are the colors of our bedroom, which is in desperate need of some freshening up. I think I would edge it out, add some trim and cover my shabby looking bedside table top. Or use it to trim out some new lampshades. I promise not to hoard it – ok, maybe for just a little bit – but only to enjoy it's uncut lovely possiblitiness for a while .

This is an awesome fabric – all the colors that I love. It will find it's way into a quilt that will be on my bed! mlwright29 (at) hotmail (dot) com
