We are very excited! We have a Silhouette Digital Cutting Machine to give away to one lucky Prudent Baby reader! I’ve noticed these cutting machines before but never thought they were for me because I’m not a scrapbooker. But when the ladies at How Does She? contacted us on Silhouette’s behalf about doing a giveaway and promised a Silhouette for us (well, one of us, thanks Jaime!) and a Silhouette for you (well, one of you) how could we say no?!? If I didn’t like it… I could just send it back and never speak of it again. Well, let me tell you, I like it. I like it very much. And I’ve only just begun!
So far, my projects are simple, using the templates that come with the starter kit, but I’m totally smitten and ready to try more! Maybe even some scrapbooking!

Here is a gift tag that I made with some cardstock!

And here is a little pillow-box that I made with more of my favorite Martha Stewart Craft Paper

And then just to try something new, I did this spoooooky spiderweb window-cling in adhesive vinyl. Clare has already requested an entire Halloween scene in her bedroom windows!

I am drooling just reading all the things you can do with the Silhouette machine. This way more sophisticated than I ever thought. I cannot wait to get my hands on one for sure. I wonder if my husband reads my tweets and blog posts. I have been hinting for a while. Hope he does…it's my birthday on Sunday. It could be a cool "push present" since I'm a new mom of twin boys.

Talk about cutting it close. I love the crafts I'm seeing people do with the Silhouette. I would love to win and start my own crafting. I would do it all but I think I would have to start with some shirt appliques for my 5 kid's.

I forgot to type what I clicked on. I am in love with the baking cups from I actually book marked this site. Planning a few birthday parties the cups will come in handy for sure. I also clicked on I want to get the Fabricworm Custom Bundle Carnival Blue. Too stinkin' cute.

Stacie George Design

Somehow I've really been missing out on what Fabric Worm has to offer. I'm always looking for great kids fabrics and they have EVERYTHING right there! Where have I been. I also just learned of the pattern company Make It Perfect… their designs are so cute… Gotta run now, got some shopping to do!

I found over at Smile and Wave that Rachel has a collection of typewriters. Which instantly reminded me of my collection of rotary telephones. It's not so much that we need them, but we really do, right? And I'll have to spend a little time over at Pretty and Preppy.

paper, paper, paper….. just to start with! The thing is what to do first! I have a two year old and a birhtday party plan… this machine would be soooooooo much help!

I am intrigued by some of the "coming soon" fabric on Fabricworm, especially the Marine by Dan Stiles. Love the teal/orange combo, that's what I'm decorating my nursery in. Also checked out the molds on Bake it Pretty, the camera is cute πŸ™‚

At Bridget and Lucy, I found an amazing double ruffle skirt for my little girly girl – and found that she is visiting Seattle and had tweeted about where to visit in Seattle – I replied with some ideas.

I went on over to what some might consider a sewer's porn site – Fabric Worm. While there I drooled over the Japanese import fabric, specifically the Kokka Cafe Curtain Tinkerbell. I've admired her for some time now… sigh.

The Russ Family

Fabricworm…i need to stay away from there, it's addicting. i find myself adding 30 things into the cart then sadly have to go through and edit it down…but that Alexander Henry Christmas fabric you used on the apron will probably stay in my cart.

Okay, so BAKE IT PRETTY is adorable. The Owl and Hypnotic Cookie Wheels are adorable. Not to mention their adorable specialty baking cups. This page has found it's new home in my bookmark file. Thank you!

I'm in love with soft pretzels but haven't made them at home before. I was so excited to find this recipe {} on "Cooking With My Kid". What a great website! I can't wait to try this recipe at home. My two year old can help me with the simple stuff, and I'm sure she'll love gobbling them up when they're done. πŸ™‚
