HANDMADE HANUKKAH IS BACK!

Because little Scarlet gets to celebrate two holidays (LUCKY!) and we don’t want her thinking it’s all about the Dora backpacks and My Little Ponies, we implement a Handmade Hanukkah strategy. So she gets 8 handmade gifts for this holiday, and she gets spoiled on Christmas. Hanukkah is early this year (December 2nd-9th), almost too early for me to pull it together right after Thanksgiving, so I’ll start by rounding up last year’s Handmade Hanukkah gifties. Might make some cute stocking stuffers for your little one too!

Keep checking in for new Hanukkah tutes, and check out all eight of last year’s Handmade Hanukkah DIYs after the jump…

And remember leave a comment on this or any post this week and you could win you some oh so snuggly Bamboo Ewe yarn!

I love Handmade Hanukkah, but why does it have to be so early this year. I think I am going to do the reverse, a store bought Hanukkah and a Handmade Christmas (my girls get to celebrate both, too!)…also, this way I can steal your handmade ideas and actually have time to do them 🙂

Handmade Hanukkah ~ Love it! I fell in love with that owl fleece since you made the silky blanket, and now you have hats in the same thing!!! SO CUTE. I have not been able to find that fabric, any ideas on if it is still made or where one could acquire some? Looking forward to the rest of your Hanukkah posts!

Represent! I start to get really Grinchy this time of year, having grown up with Christmas everything except the holiday. I'm looking forward to making several of these projects and others from your sight. A little crafting keeps the Grinch away!

yay! I was so happy to see this! 😀

I was thinking of making a flannel board menorah and "candles" so that my nearly three year old could light her menorah (and I don't have a heart attack with her and fire. Of course, I'm probably being paranoid). Looking forward to seeing your wonderful creative gifts!

I love this! Sounds like your house & celebrations are like mine…I'm a Baptist/Jew (so I like to joke I'm both chosen & saved) and my husband is Catholic. So we celebrate it all, too! xo
