I know! Moved to TX from NY in 2005 & could hardly believe when the drive-thru gal asked me over & over to say "S-H-A-M-R-O-C-K S-H-A-K-E". I honestly figured it was because English seemed to be her second language. When the manager & now another employee were staring back at me in the window as though I had asked for shrimp scampi, my first disappointment with living in the Lone Star State was confirmed. Why? Why? We're back on the East coast now, so I'll have one for you. Unless VA, has joined TX for some reason. (Didn't know the Ronald McDonald House story; thanks for sharing) Such a long comment for just shamrock shakes. 🙂 So enjoy your site.

OMG! Kansas doesn't have shamrock shakes either! Tradgedy and travesty! Life is unfair– but I guess I just wanted you to know, you are not suffering alone. 🙁

My mom, my daughter and I are going to get to work on 3 pillowcase dresses. Maddy only wears dresses and the fancier the better, she was devastated to learn that some little girls don't have one!

Thanks for the link. . .you have no idea what that has done for me!
