Love this bracelet made from buttons and electrical wire at Miss, Are You Irish?
This tree stump trivet made of felt is adorbs, tutorial at Martha Stewart Crafts.
It may look hilarious but you know it’s delicious! Hotdogtopus!
Make your own signature in a stamp. Awesome tutorial.

More clicking around this week…

Lovely Mama’s Day Gift Round Up from Martha Stewart, and some mother’s day crafts for kids. Oh and one more, gifts & ideas to pamper mom. That sounds nice. A different kind of pamper 😉

Umm, I love Parks and Recreation. Last week when Ron (best character on TV) was asked if he’d ever had a turkey burger, he replied: “Is that a fried turkey leg inside a grilled hamburger? If so, yes. Delicious.” Check out this recipe for the Ron Swanson Turkey Burger. HA.

Amazing guide to food photography at Serious Eats.

Have to plug my book for mother’s day, forgive me. But don’t you agree with this one??

Want these.

How to make a kids party fun for the grown ups too.

An artwork i love.

What are y’all clicking on these days?

Oh, perfect timing! I started carving a stamp last night and I had trouble finding a good tutorial. I am planning on using it with fabric ink to make personalized tags for things I sew.

cute links! Try some beer in a shallow plate to catch the slugs or sprinkle diatomaceous earth around your plants to keep them away!

salt for the sluggs, but I don't know right off how it effects the soil… You might google it. I just remember my friends mom would sprinkle salt in her flower beds because it dries the sluggs out or something. The don't like it.

YES, Ron Swanson is the best character on TV. I wish they would show his secret jazz musician life again like in season one. I think he called himself Ron Foxy or something?

It's time to get you some Sluggo, mama! They're eating my garden, too. Salt will kill the slugs, but it'll kill your plants, too. Beer comes up a lot, as does a soapy dish of water, but the easiest solution is Sluggo. It comes in a shaker-can, and it's pretty eco-friendly. Don't use the "Sluggo plus" kind if you live around a body of water, as that can harm marine life. But otherwise it's just iron phosphate, and it's pretty harmless.

Cute things. For your slug problem you could try putting egg shells, coffee grounds or sand paper around your plants to keep them away. 🙂

Try the eggshells, diatomaceuos earth, or the beer 1st. If that fails hit them with the Slugg-O. Last year slugs destroyed our spring "crops" and made me cry. Gardening is tough in Seattle……
