Last week I showed you the time-lapse video love letter I made to my new backyard. A month or so before that I showed you the before pictures here. Now, if you’ll indulge me, here are some lovely photos by Raya of Raya Photography (she does weddings and family photography too, book her if you’re in the market, she’s amazing).
That’s me and my friend champagne! Let me show you some more of her lovely shots and tell you where I bought everything (90% with my membership rewards points, i shelled out almost no actual cash money=if you have an amex, you’ll likely be shocked by the number of places you can use those things) in case you see something you want to snag…
To see a slideshow with links and info on where to buy just about everything on my patio, except for the DIY stuff of course, click on this link: My New Backyard: A Source List.
Love the couch on a pallet with wheels!
oh my gosh, this is Amazing! I can't get over all of the cute little details!
I'm so jealous! We have a little patio, but we don't have a covered porch. Our other issue is that the humidity here means that we can't use upholstered stuff outside unless we haul it outside every time we intend to use it. Well, I know me, and that just ain't happening!
It really looks great. I love the fabric "flags" on the wall. I think I'm going to steal that idea, but that is, after all, why you put them on the blog, right?
Beautiful! Gorgeous! Lovely!
I wish I could have a back patio like that myself! Someday maybe… for now… my backyard is all about the kids. Hehehe…
Love it so pretty. But I see all that stuff and think wow I wonder if it would ever get stolen? The fence must help. I live in a smaller town and young kids have nothing better to do then steal stuff from people's yards.
Lovely oasis!
Did you create the sunshade/awning off the side or purchase it?
That would be a perfect solution on the side of or porch where the
late afternoon sun beats down.
Oh man! I'm seriously in love with the space you created. I showed my husband the video of that three times after you posted it and kept saying "I want to make that for our little balcony!!" You did a fantastic job!
Any tips for creating it on a smaller scale – say 66 sq feet? 🙂
Ok I honestly can't say that I've EVER seen a cuter patio!!! Everything is simply FAB! The color….the patterns…the quirky vibe. I am in LOVE! Great job Mama!!!!!! I am gonna check out the source list and make a shopping list! 🙂
You did an awesome job on the patio!! But my comment is about your bed. I LOVE it. I love the headboard that you made, I love the bedspread, I love love love the way it's positioned right in front of the open doors. There's some very Taj Mahal about it. In fact, the entire patio has an India feel to it. It's so airy and open and colorful. It's like when the little princess woke up and her attic had been transformed into an Indian palace. Looking for a house guest, or rather a patio guest? I come with two hilarious little monsters! 🙂 I kid, I kid. But kudos and love your hard work!
Nice work on everything! So many fun details! I am excited to see what you do to your grill. I presume you have one :)?
What a great space. Jealous 🙂
thank you everyone! and sarah, i posted a diy on the bed here: Prudent Baby Headboard!
Umm ridiculously awesome, soooo jealous!!
I Heart the DIY daybed! I think I might make a copy for my art/guest room
Oh wow. This makes our small, barren deck that needs power washing look really sad. Okay, I'm moving in with you! Don't worry, I'll stay in the backyard…
I love it all! I think I will have to use some of your ideas to cover up the stenciled ivy and decaying FAKE ivy that was left for us at our new home. Now where to find pallets and where is your DIY post on how to make that amazing day bed?
So I've been obsessed with glass jars and whatnot lately… I've never seen such an assortment of fantastic glass containers! Looks like you had a great time creating this lovely space.
Jaime it looks great in the "I didn't try too hard, and this look has come together over years" Kind of way! That is hard to pull off in a month or so; amazing job!

Wow! Amazing! I could sit there all day 🙂
This looks really awesome! I LOVE the coffee table in front of the day bed. Did you purchase it like that, or wrap the cords yourself? I'd love to see a DIY for it!
This is amazing! I'm so inspired now. Lovely.

Hey! I absolutely love your makeover! I too am starting a makeover for my small deck…and I tried to look at your source page. However, it won’t let me look at it. I am very interested in the colorful rope bench and wooden chair! Please let me know if there is a different way to get to your sources.
Thanks, Sydney

Hmm it looks like your blog ate my first comment (it was super
long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say,
I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but
I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for first-time
blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.

LOVE! Very interested in source or DIY info for your colorful rope bench. It strikes me! We are just starting the dreaming phase of a new back living space makeover.
Thanks!
