I never had a sock monkey as cute as this but I did have a monkey toy named Monocito that I brought with me wherever I went. Leave your comment anytime between now and Friday, December 2nd. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

I was always a bit of a nerd so my favorite toy was actually a book. One snowy day. I read it over and over again but somehow, now all I remember about it is the illustrations. I guess that shows how impactful prints can be!

I had this awesome princess doll that came with these little Velcro jewels that stuck to her hair and dress. Thinking back on it now it was kind of weird because the jewels were in this little contraption that was reminiscent of a staple gun and that's how you attached the jewels. Luckily that behavior didn't translate!

My favorite toy was a doll named Mary that had belonged to my older sister. All her hair was cut off so Mom painted hair on and she was missing a leg. But I loved her more than all of my other dolls.

I had a pound puppy and my six year old self used some very interesting sewing skills to make it a nappy! It still wears that nappy and lives on the shelf in my daughter's room. I still love it!

One of my favorite childhood toys was my cabbage patch kid. I love that my daughter plays with her now.

My favourite childhood toy was a red polka dot pram that I played with for hours on end. My brother played with me with his beat up old pram! My parents gave it to me for my birthday, I woke u to find it in my room and I was overjoyed.

My favorite toy was a stuffed dog named Smudge. His fur is all missing and his ear and an eye. His nose and mouth are drawn on with a marker. I still have him. 🙂

My beloved baby doll, Sara. She was a little black baby doll, with a cloth body and plastic head, hands, and backside. I cut a hole in her mouth so she could suck on a bottle and on her thumb. I remember having lots of love for that little baby.

I loved my little lawn mower that blew bubbles. I used to chase my dad around with it while he mowed.
