Fabric Friday

Now that summer is almost here I can’t wait to start sewing up summer clothes. I’m thinking a few more rompers and ribbon dresses will be making their way in. There are so many sewing possibilities with an adorable fabric such as this Lucie Summers’ Metro Floral Scandi Seafoam.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Lucie Summers, Summersville, Metro Floral Scandi Seafoam tell us what you would make with this darling fabric. Leave your comment anytime between now and Friday, May 11th. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

I adore Summersville – thanks for the giveaway! I think I’d make my daughter a dress or maybe one of your rompers if I were lucky enough to win 🙂 Fingers crossed!

Wouldn’t this be so cute as a runner and little lumbar pillows on my patio furniture? With BUTTONS to hold the pillows in! LOVE the color…

Such a lovely fabric! I’d probably make a simple bag to show off the pattern.

Hi Jaime–

I’ve been tweeting every day, and sometimes my comments appear on this page, falling into the long line of comments left during the week. Other times I am directed to a page that has an url ending in “attachment/something…” on which tonight there were only four comments, one left by me on Monday, one on Tuesday, and two left by someone else. I was directed there when I clicked on the “Read More” link. So I don’t know what is happening, whether you see those four comments also, but they aren’t listed here in numerical order. I didn’t want to miss out on entries, but I wasn’t trying to have them entered twice. Maybe it’s a computer glitch?

Oh how I love all things Scandinavian! This pattern would look so cute as a sundress for my girls, but I might be selfish and make a bag/purse for myself ’cause I love it so very much!

I feel like this would be a great apron, paired with linen. Or linen pants with wide print cuffs! thanks for the chance!
