For the dad on the go, make him a toiletry bag out of fabric and vinyl or a full waterproof oilcloth toiletry bag.
If he loves to work outdoors in the garden give him a collection of polymer garden stones to use as labels.
Or take it a step further and make him long lasting cement garden stones.
If he is the kind of dad that is all about his gadgets, he will love to know his laptop will stay nice and safe in a manly laptop sleeve that uses velcro or a laptop sleeve with snaps.
And if you just want to give him something that says, kick back and relax, whip up some cute and fun mustache lollipops…
Along with a pair of the most comfy pajama pants. What other DIY ideas have you come up with for Father’s Day?
My son would love all these things more than my husband. Expesically the toiletry bag, the little herb stones and the pants.
Love that dop-kit. I think those make great gifts, and a DIY one is pretty cool in itself.
I actually threw together a Father’s Day gift guide myself, for the dad who is handy in the kitchen: http://www.thebookofjimmy.com/fathers-day-gift-guide-for-the-kitchen-savvy-dad/
Sadly, they aren’t exactly DIY gifts, but they will all help make home cooking easier (and better), and I added a handful of items that were under ten bucks.
