Fabric Friday

It’s perfect timing for this Beach Umbrellas red, white and blue fabric. With the 4th of July almost here you could make adorable accessories to wear to celebrate. Maybe hair bows or a sun hat for the kids? Oooh, how about a gift wine bag for the hostess?

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Jack and Lulu, It’s A Shore Thing, Beach Umbrellas Navy tell us a favorite quote you live by. Mine is actually one that Jaime wrote for a cross-stitch quote of the day, Be Where You Are. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

Find out who won last week’s Fabric Friday after the jump…

My exciting plans this weekend are/were flying across the country at eight-months pregnant with my one-year-old son to go to my husband’s best friend’s wedding. Maybe “exciting” isn’t the right word… but it promises to be good, if exhausting, fun!

Congrats! Look out for an email from us within the week.

Mine has to be “Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans” which I think was John Lennon. Nothing has ever been truer for me!

Love, love, love this fabric, and this whole collection!!!

My favorite quote, though way too over-used now, is “it’s not the years of life, but the life in the years that matters.”. Reminds me to live each day to the fullest and enjoy the journey (good to remember when my two month old is crying, my two year old is whining, and the dog is barking!!!)
