Simple DIY Vase

We have been trying out some fun new craft supplies from X-ACTO and Elmer’s. Today we have a little tutorial for these super simple vases.Read on for how to make a cute new vase. It’s a great semi-handmade last-minute gift! And check out how sweet Clare’s own vase is after the jump!

Check out how simple this is…

1. Grab a few plain vases from your local craft store. Give them a wipe down to remove dirt.

2. Start drawing!

For this hand-drawn herringbone, we drew vertical lines with alternating heights at the top.Focus!

3. Draw your herringbone lines all the way around. Take breaks to avoid finger cramps.

4. Don’t forget to sign it.

When your paint is fully dry in a few minutes, spray with polyurethane spray according to manufacturers instructions. Add flowers!
You are finished!

Or maybe some monogrammed things!! So much inspiration in this or basket!! Thanks for the great post!!
