Fabric Friday

It’s been a hoot here getting all ready for fall. Jacinda (@prudentjacinda) posted on Instagram that she has started making her fall wreath and Jaime (@prudentjaime) photographed a bountiful fall harvest. Sewing projects are also quickly adding to the list of fall crafts and David Textiles, Hoot Owl, Owls On Branches Cream would be perfect for a good handful of them.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of David Textiles, Hoot Owl, Owls On Branches Cream tell us a fall project you would love to use this fabric for. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

Find out who won last week’s Fabric Friday after the jump…

Though my children are older, 18, 15, and 12, I’m all about making family strong and things fun. I would make a table runner, potholder (using your instructions :) ) and other decor for fall. If there’s enough, a tote for my 12 yr old.
Thanks so much!

Being a Temple U. grad, I love anything owl related! This would make a really cute trim fabric or fabric for a key fob.

My sister is a teacher and would love to use this fabric in her class to cover one of her boards.

I would use it to make a “hooter hider” for nursing…..I like the subtle pun.

I’d make a long-sleeved fall tunic for my 15 month old with this adorable owl-printed fabric!

This fabric is perfect for my little girl! Her name is Birdie and she hoots instead of coos. I think a little jumper from it would be absolutely darling on her!

This fabric would make the cutest pyjamas for my three and a half year old! She’s mad about owls. :)

What a beautiful little swatch this makes! My goal is to make as many holiday gifts as possible this year and these owls would be perfect for an apron and/or “baker’s set” for my boyfriend’s sister – she is the cupcake queen!

I would love to use this for the ‘apron’ part of an apron skirt I’m making for my big girl and what’s left over would be used as feature pockets on some trews for my wee boy. I might even get some turnups out of it too.
Gorgeous fabric!
