Fabric Friday

I love the vintage style of Laura Gunn, Cosmos, Cosmos Blue fabric. The colors are so bold that it would make a great accent for any sewn project. A Halloween costume, perhaps? I would definitely use them in making these beautiful bird wings.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Laura Gunn, Cosmos, Cosmos Blue tell us what you would make with this fabric. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Lovely! I love the bird wings idea. Fun! I love adding to my kid’s costume collection.

Oh my I had a dream last night that I won this fabric. But when it came I botched the project I was working on (a skirt) and I cried 🙁

I just received a skirt pattern that I would love to use this fabric for making a skirt for my daughter!

I would mix with some blue and green plaid and make a cute color block baby blanket for my niece.

I’d make smock dresses for my two little girls. Would make lovely Christmas Day outfits to show off my two beauties.

I was just thinking I need some vintage fabric for napkins, but this particular fabric would look really cute in the four season cross-over top. Or maybe a bubble skirt.

I have been wanting to have a crack at making a handbag or clutch. I could see this fabric as an adorable little nighttime clutch.

I love reading other people’s ideas–it’s so inspiring. I was thinking some PJ pants but now I’m leaning toward some zipper bags.

I would be using this bold fabric for a tunic for me. Would be perfect over some dark skinny jeans and red platforms!
