Fabric Friday

I have been planning out a quilt to make this Christmas and quickly fell in love with Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Organic Fabrics, Camp Modern, Flight Mahogany from Fabricworm. In fact, it’s hard not to want to take the entire Camp Modern bundle.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Organic Fabrics, Camp Modern, Flight Mahogany tell us what sewing projects you’ve been working on lately. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

I’m all about the woodland theme too! I would probably make something for my little girl…or maybe a skirt for myself! Thanks!

Congrats! Look out for an email from us within the week.

I just finished a Christmas dress for my one-year old daughter and am making a load of infinity scarves for friends and family gifts.

I just got my first sewing machine and I came to your site to look at what I need for sewing basics. My first project I decided will be to make a small purse. Once I figure out how to sew a strait line. I am going to try the masking tape tip. I think it will help. I have pinned a bunch of other future tasks on Pinterest that I plan to do. I feel very optimistic that if I can learn this the sky is the limit.

I’ve been making potholders for Christmas presents, and a pair of swim leggings to try to keep my tiny daughter warm at the pool. Thanks for the chance!

In the last 2 weeks, I’ve made some Christmas ornaments from scrap fabrics, a draft snake for our drafty door, and am cutting up fabric for napkins. Hope I finish the napkins in time to mail for Christmas!
