Cozy Projects to Do Over Break

Now that the holiday break is in full swing, the crafting bug has started to set in here at Prudent Baby. We will be taking a break from posting until after New Years, but we can assure you we have some great projects in store. With the cold weather setting in it’s all about getting cozy. Here are some of our past Prudent Baby Season of Cozy projects to get you started…

This Fox Scarf with Free Pattern is seriously one of the warmest scarves I own.

Keep your toes warm and toasty with Fabric Slippers with Free Pattern.

If you love to crochet, check out the Granny Square Poncho, Crochet Hot Water Bottle Cozy, Crochet Chunk Scarf, and Scarflette Pattern.

Turn something old into something brand new by turning a pillowcase into a Vintage Pillowcase Nightgown. Grab an old T-shirt to make Pajamas and Striped Jersey Shorts. Use an old sweater to make Recycled Sweater Pants.

Snuggle up in a pair of Sleep Shorts or Pants. Get some extra shut eye with a Minkee Eye Mask with Pattern. Zzzzzzz…

Keep your head warm with the Under-an-Hour Jersey Hat for you and Top-Knot Baby Hat for a baby.

This 1-Yard Fleece Hooded Poncho can be made in no time at all and Jaime and Jacinda will walk you through the steps with their video.

For the Home

Curl up on a Nap Mat/Bed Roll.

Sew a Beginner’s Baby Blanket or Snuggly Baby Blanket for a new baby and a Duvet Cover for you and the kids.

Make your couch or bed extra cozy by learning How to Sew a Zipper Pillow, How to Sew Zipper Pillows with Piping, and How to Sew a Sham Pillow with Zipper Closure.

To top it all off, sew the littlest one a nice and warm Swaddle Blanket.
