Fabric Friday

Who knew lab animals could look so cute? I especially love the alligator in glasses. Michael Miller, Lab, Lab Animals Turquoise fabric seems to be the perfect one to start off the new year. It’s all about experimenting and learning new things along the way.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Michael Miller, Lab, Lab Animals Turquoise tell us a New Year’s resolution you have. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

Making matching baby shoes to a dress I made to give to a friend at her baby shower next week.

Congrats! Look out for an email from us within the week.

I resolve to sit down and draft a pattern for a baby dress design that’s been rattling around in my head (and if I’m really good, I’ll make it in multiple sizes, too).

To be less critical of family and co-workers, maybe I can learn something from them instead of assuming they need to learn from me

I really want this print! I’m a scientist and I’m expecting so this is perfect! I don’t usually make resolutions. I just try to be healthier and a better person (and scientist!).

My resolution would be to make something adorable for my friend, who is a biologist and just had a baby, if I won! Other than that, it’s to make my husband more lunches to bring to work.

I don’t make new year’s resolutions. If it’s important enough for me to make a resolution, then the time year makes no difference.

No ‘official’ resolutions, but would love to tackle more sewing projects in 2013. I’d also like to start embroidering.

I love this fabric! My resolution is to save up enough money for a down payment on our first house!

I resolve to be a better mom. I will commit to spending more time playing and singing. We will eat together as a family and we will make healthy choices when doing so.

resolution is to spend a little extra time with each of my kids individually…. each week.

I don’t call them resolutions – they’re “goals”. One goal I have is to make a quilt this year.

My resolution is to organize better…my paperwork, my fabric. That includes getting rid of things I no longer need, use, fit into

I have just began learning to sew. So my New Years resolution has been to learn to sew and make more things And of course to lose weight.
