Fabric Friday

You may remember from last week that we had a much more colorful version of this same fabric. It was too cute we had to give it away again but in a whole new color. This Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics 2, Organic, Elk Fam Pool fabric is a little bit more subtle, which makes it great for using anywhere in the home or for sewing clothes. In fact, I’d love to use it to make a 10-minute Onesie Dress for a little baby girl I know.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics 2, Organic, Elk Fam Pool tell us what you would make with this new elk fabric. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

I am due Aug 15 and I am obsessed with those little 1950s collared play suits. They look almost like coveralls, but with shorts. I think my little man could totally rock this print. AND I facebooked you. Thanks for the giveaway chance!

Congrats! Look out for an email from us within the week.

I make baby blankets that are crochet on one side and fabric on the other. This would make a super cute blanket. Or doll clothes. Or a dress for one of my girls. So many fun options!

I’d make tote bags for my two explorer boys. I never have enough hands to carry all the sticks and stones.

This fabric is absolutely adorable!! We are currently in the design stages of our little outdoor patio and considering building a pallet daybed using the tutorial you posted awhile back. This fabric would make adorable little pillows for our outdoor area as well as satisfy my husbands request that not everything be in pale pink. I mean elk are manly right?! 🙂

I do not think I would make anything out of this adorable fabric because I would have too hard of a time cutting into it. I think I would just drape it on a chair in my sewing room and stare at it forever!

I think I’d make something for my table, either a runner or maybe placemats.

Thank you and Fabricworm for a super giveaway and a chance to win.

I’m in the process of decorating my sons nursery. This fabric would be perfect for a throw pillow and for a changing pad cover!
