Fabric Friday

It’s not every day that we give away a knit as cute as this. Heather Ross has created this adorable Briar Rose, Strawberry Lilac knit fabric that is here just in time for summer. Have you tried sewing with knits yet or do they still make you a little too nervous? Get a rundown on how to sew with them in Sewing with Jersey 101.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Heather Ross, Briar Rose, KNIT, Strawberry Lilac tell us what you would love to make with this knit fabric. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

No doubt I would make a gathered skiry for my daughter with tulle peeking out underneath! So cute for all ate raspberry picking. I think Kojo has a tutorial called the Jack and Jill skirt that would be perfect.

I just got the Oliver + s hopscotch pattern so I’d use it to make either a top or a dress for my daughter!

I want to make a double layer skirt for my girlie. I’ve been itching to try it, but have yet to find a fabric worthy of the effort. This is it!

That fabric is sooooo sweet… there are soooo many options.
Scarf for me? Baby hat and blanket for the winter? Leg warmers for my older girls? stretchy pencil skirt for my 6 year old?
love it!

Ooh – while a t-shirt dress for my daughter is tempting, I might just bind the edges for a supercute soft blanket for her bed.
