Fabric Friday on Pretty Prudent
For our first Fabric Friday of 2014 we are giving away this lovely Dennis Bennett for Birch Organic Fabrics, Ipanema, Main Orange fabric. The bright colors are making me excited for springtime and lots of warm weather. This year one of my resolutions is to take on more sewing projects. I really want to try sewing a hexagon quilt. What are you planning on sewing this year?

My sister said an apron, but I think it would make cute little boy pajamas or button up shirt.

Congrats! Look out for an email from us within the week.

I’m planning on making a couple quilts – one for each of my children that got married this past year. I’m planning something with Ipanema, but I haven’t decided exactly what yet.

Well my plans are to finish two quilts I have started. Make two more charity quilts. And two table toppers. We will see if it all gets done but that is the plan.

My twin boys will be ready to move to toddler bed soon, so naturally they will need new quilts with cute matching fabric. ๐Ÿ™‚

My biggest project on the list, so far, is a king sized quilt for my bed. It is going to take a good chunk of time to finish up.

I’ve got lots of projects going on. Block of the months, quilt alongs, bees and there are a couple of babies due by spring in my family, so that means baby quilts! mrscwatson81(at)hotmail.com

I am making a quilt for our little guest bedroom which really serves as my husband’s office/music room. Much of the fabric is music-themed.

My grand daughter is making a small quilt for her sister. We need to get that finished before April. It’ll be easy if we can find the time to get together. Thanks.

I just started a Noodlehead Super Tote yesterday, and I have a Swoon block cut out that I want to make as a wall hanging. Then when the Valentine’s fabric comes that I just ordered, I’ll drop everything to make a bed runner. Whew!! Thanks for the give away!

I’m currently starting on a log cabin project. As it’s my first I’m aiming small and will probably only make coasters from the blocks.

Looking forward to making another baby quilt for my grand-daughter. I have almost finished all the cross-stitch blocks, now I need to work on the alternate blocks.
