Giveaway: Wise Craft
We are big fans of Blair Stocker’s work and her creative projects on Wise Craft, so we were especially thrilled when we were asked to check out her new book, Wise Craft: Turning Thrift Store Finds, Fabric Scraps, and Natural Objects Into Stuff You Love. And let me tell you, it’s awesome!

Giveaway: Wise Craft

Blair has such a knack for upcycling, recycling, and making beautiful, original projects. This book is la crème de la crème for anyone with the even the littlest inkling of creativity. She provides you with projects that can fill up your year from month to month, and season to season. Just look at these awesome Zombie Barbies for Halloween she made with old Barbies.

Blair also gives you ideas for how to bring nature into the home, with projects like the Aspen Branch Hooks. After reading through this you’ll start to see the creative beauty in everything, and probably won’t leave your craft space for a few, many weeks. There could be worse things, right?

Not sure whether comment for entry is in Rafflecopter or here, so I’ll post my upcycling project I’d like to try here as well: turning old denim jeans into bags.

I want to upcycle so much stuff.. where do I start? Right now I always seem to be doing birthday parties so I have been wanting to make some cake stands. Candleholders and plates!

Jumped here from wisecraft which I have enjoyed for years. I love the concept of upcycling, love thrifted fabrics and sweaters. I would like to make more things for my home that reflect that.

I ‘d like to make children’s soft toys from wool sweaters and use my old clothes to refashion into clothes for my little girls.
