It may not be “fun” but most of my summer is centered around a cross-country move.

We always unplug for a week in the woods of Mine. I think I will miss my sewing machine most this year!

There’s a new baby in the family so the summer will feature introducing her to some of the joys of outside life and warmer weather. She was a preemie and spent far too much of her early days cooped up inside.

Summer in Florida means get out early and enjoy your mornings because in the afternoon it will be hot and rainy! So mornings at the beach or by the pool!

Three weeks, two states, six cities, one baby and me. I think we might need to do tour date t-shirts.

I’m not able to go away this summer, but my sister and her family are visiting us from abroad, so that will be really good. I also plan to teach my friend’s 10 year old how to use a sewing machine, so some simple summer sewing.

Love this fabric and love all this quality time I’m getting with the kiddo while I’m home for the Summer! Activities: playing by the pool, summer reading and curriculum catch-up with kiddo, and waiting for him to fall asleep so I can sew adorable things!! Happy Summer! :)
