I am working thru the fall on sewing for kids in crisis to be sent in Operation Christmas Child shoe box gifts. They will be collected the week before Thanksgiving, so I will be stitching on those until then.

Right now fall projects are Halloween costumes for the family (working on a Merida dress right now).

Eep, is that my name up there? <3

Anyway, I'm planning to finish up projects on rainy, cold evenings. I started so much, but lost my sewing groove this summer and let myself get buried under pants-with-knee-holes. Those are not inspiring.

Still have the playtent on the to-do pile as well, that has to get done, 'cause I think the kids could use that one a lot this winter. They love it when I build a hut. 🙂

this fabric would make an excellent quilt and quickly, since I’m working on Christmas gifts this would be a perfect gift.

This fall, I am working on a new table runner in rich, autumn colors. I plan on giving my old one to my daughter, who loves it! She is just moving into an apartment and wants a little reminder of home.

Autumn brings a calmness to me where I can actually sit and read, so my chair needs new quilted pillows and a lap quilt for those cooler nights and early morning reads while sipping coffee.
