Fabric Friday

Fabric Friday on Pretty Prudent

We are kicking off the new year with this cute, Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Serengeti, The Tribe fabric. I also love this herringbone fabric from the same Serengeti collection. Have you made some sewing resolutions this year? Perhaps tackling zippers and knits? I’ve been making a to-do list of sewing projects for the year, which include remaking some of our old favorites. I’d love to use this fabric to sew Jaime’s Romper with a Zipper for my niece for spring, or Jacinda’s Easy Muumuu. What Pretty Prudent project does this fabric inspire you to make?

I would sew something for the new 1 year old in the family—its such a simple print that is adorable. Perhaps a blanket?

I would have to use this to sew something special for my youngest! He loves animals and this fabric would be perfect for him! 🙂 Thanks!

I’d sew a dress for my daughter. She loves dresses and animals, so it would be fun!
