Fabric Friday

Fabric Friday on Pretty Prudent_NEW

Today we are having flashback Fabric Friday, with this retro-inspired
Monaluna for Birch Organic Fabrics, Circa 52, Cars fabric. This is one of those classic fabrics that can be used for years to come. I think I’d want to sew up one of my favorite Pretty Prudent tutorials with this fabric – the cutest bow tie. This fabric also makes me want to plan my next vacation. Hmm, where to next?

Enter for the chance to win one yard of Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Serengeti, Quill Stripe Multi, and find out who won last week’s Fabric Friday after the jump…

Not sure we’ll get anywhere too far from home, but we always spend a long weekend at a cabin on Lake Erie with my inlaws. (It’s more fun that it might sound)

This year? I want to take day trips to Austin, Garner State Park and Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. I also want to stay a few days in Padre Island.

I’d love to go backpacking in the Tetons… probably not going to happen with a newborn. I’m sure we’ll do something fun though!

I don’t know if we’ll get in any vacations this year. We’re trying to find a time to go visit my parents and maybe we’ll fit a short camping trip in, too.

I want to visit the South Island, especially Christchurch. I haven’t been there since the big earthquake.

We are going to England for 2 months to stay with our lifelong friends, and the 4 of us will no doubt go to Paris and a few other places together. Our husbands are going to Le Mons the car race in France, and my husband and I are going to St. Andrews in Scotland for the golf – he golfs I shop – for fabric if I can find any.

I’m looking forward to the first large family gathering for Thanksgiving in years. It will be nice to see all the cousins that have scattered to all corners of the country. Thanks! notwendy gmail
