Fabric Friday

Fabric-Friday-on-Pretty-Prudent

Happy Friday! What fun plans do you have for this weekend? We are going to be working on converting the basement into a studio/workshop space. I’ve been filling the shelves with craft supplies and fabrics. This Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics, Organic, Birdie Spokes Grass would make a perfect addition. How cute would it be for a spring table runner?

Enter for the chance to win one yard of Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics, Organic, Birdie Spokes Grass, and find out who won last week’s Fabric Friday after the jump…

I just finished a few pairs of pajama pants, made from a shirt that my husband no longer wanted. I have a few dresses lined up next.

I’m finishing a crochet blanket I started long ago. I’m also sewing all the Spring and Summer clothes that my children need, I hope not to have to buy any. Thanks for the chance!

I’m working several things depending on my mood–a few clutches, a baby blanket, a sampler quilt, and whatever else strikes my fancy at the time.

I have way too many projects going on! I am trying to learn to knit socks using the Magic Loop method, so far so good. Also finishing a shawl I started last fall in a Mystery Knitalong. And now that Spring really does seem to be here to stay, I want to make some pennant flags to hang across the back porch.

I’m making a flying geese quilt for my 4 year old nephew who is quite specific in his tastes: he loves blue and green, blue and green, and nothing else.

I am currently working on a batik quilt and waiting on some more fabric for the binding. I love it!

I’m making small purses for my nieces right now. 1 down, at least 2 more to go.

I’m refashioning/upcycling some clothes, mainly for me. Currently a dotted dress which would be so much cooler as a skirt. 🙂
