Last Sunday before the big game, Carleton bought us tickets for a family day out at the Los Angeles Cookie Convention. It was fairly janky as far as the set up, but there were some beautiful cookies to be admired! Check this stuff out.
These sugar skull cookies by Cake and Cork were stunning.
This Tiger head cake was by far the most amazing sweet concoction we saw, created by Wilton instructor Julie P. Zambrano.
These old school police car cookies are adorable…
and their prohibition-style set up is even cuter.
More fun inspiration from the LA Cookie Convention after the jump…
These fan cookies look elegant and edible, from Veronica Mera at Baked Goods Unlimited
My favorite one of these mean troll cookies from XO Bakes said “Bye Felicia.”
Scarlet was smitten with these ballet slipper cake pops.
Though I found the RumBundctious Cakes to be the most yum.
This “The Force” cake by Thu Pham at JTP House of Sweets was pretty impressive.
Scarlet loved this melty ice cream looking cake. So did I.
But her favorite thing was decorating this cookie with Melissa of Baking With Melissa.
Actually, I’m pretty sure her favorite thing was hanging out with Dad all day.
I love these so much! Such a perfect hostess gift, definitely.
