Coming this Week: Prudent Baby & Brother Serger Contest!

Are you ready to sew for a serger? We will announce what you have to do to enter our new contest this week, but first let’s take a look at this glorious prize. The Brother 523 PRW Serger is the machine that Jaime and I both have at home and adore. Available at authorized Innov-s dealers only and retailing for $829.95, this serger is a dream. So you want to win one right? Read on to hear more and stay tuned this week for our contest announcement!

The new Project Runway Limited Edition 5234PRW is the first serger to be introduced into the Project Runway collection of machines. This new serger will add a professional look to your next project with serged seam finishes…
Garment seams lie flatter and look better with an overlock stitch. Plus, home dcor projects often suggest the use of a serger for rolled hems and secure seams and differential feed. Choose from a 2, 3 or 4 thread look and enjoy the new easy one-touch needle threader for threading two needles. The 5234PRW features two needles with a differential feed ratio of 0.7 to 2.0 for improved stitch quality. Create stitches from 2.0mm to 4.0mm in length and 5.0mm to 7.0mm in width. The included large extension table adds extra space for handling large projects and the free arm makes it easier to sew sleeves, trouser legs and other hard to reach places.

  • Built in auto-threader
  • Easy to thread lower looper
  • Included extra large extension table
  • Easy one-touch needle threading for two needles
  • Two needles and 2-3-4 thread
  • Available at Authorized Innov-s Dealers Only

i was just wishing i could actually put this on my christmas 'wish list' and it be possible for me to get one. but reality check hit me. so needless to say, i'm beyond excited for a chance to win this!!! thank you thank you!!!
christmas is back on 🙂

Could you post some advice on the thread…as in, if I get a serger, do I actually need to buy 4 spools of every thread color?…right now, I make do with the overlock stitch on my sewing machine and am reasonably happy.

No luck involved ladies! It's all skill and creativity! Yes Jessica, we expect to see an entry! : )

LM-People usually stick to black and white. My mother just uses gray all the time!

I think you just made everyone's day. Certainly made mine anyway. The thought of possibly winning such a lovely machine is exciting!

I have always wanted a serger. But there is no way I will be getting one anytime soon. Unless I win one. 🙂 I can't wait to find out more info.

WOO! HOO! A Brother Serger is definitely on my Christmas Wish list. This would make so many of my projects look more professional and make it even quicker to complete. This is so very exciting!!!!

WOW! I just found your blog through @BrotherSews and this is very exciting! I'm a designer and need professional machines. This one looks fabulous!

Wow how beautiful is this baby? Maybe Santa will make up for the Viking Dealer screw up fixing mine? Could one be so lucky? Keeping my fingers crossed but not holding my breath.

So cute and tiny compared to my Viking! It looks more portable than most sergers. And I really like that the accessory box is a side extension rather than an extra thing I have to find a place to stash when I'm actually sewing.

this is AMAZING! i cant wait to find out more about how to win this… my husband has my 'Wish list' and Serger was #1 even though i know we cant afford one. This would be so wonderful to win. I am opening up my first shop this friday! (little nervous- i have to admit- but excited 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to win! You guys are awesome!

Been looking for a Serger for over a year but the money never seems to be there, this is just awesome for a chance to win one. I could get so many more projects done and have them look professional.
