DIY Pyramid Stud Earrings

I went to a wedding this weekend and my friend was wearing the prettiest pair of pyramid stud earrings. During the ceremony I definitely tried to come up with a way to snatch them right out of her ears, but since that plan failed it’s onto making them. Vanessa from Cafe Craftea is the brains behind this super simple and adorable project. They can literally take you less than 5-minutes to make. Here’s an idea, rock your pyramid earrings with a DIY Pyramid Wristlet Purse!

DIY Pyramid Stud Earrings

(Difficulty: Easy)

Pseudo punk and pseudo chic, here’s a tutorial for making a simple 5-minute pair of studs! I’ve been wanting a pair of simple pyramid studs forever since I see them everywhere, but have been unwilling to dish out money for them because I’m always thinking “I can totally make these myself”. Well, so can you!

Supplies

(1) Silver Plated Earrings Pin Pairs Stud Back Lock Post Pad 80 Pieces

(2) 100 Pcs. 11.00 Mm. Silver Pyramid Studs Nailheads

(3) Flatnose pliers

(4) E-6000 glue

Do excuse the ugly paint stains on my fingers…I was working on 3 different earring tutorials at the same time 😛

1. Place a generous dollop of glue on the earring post and position it at the back of the pyramid stud. Let dry overnight.

2. Use flat nosed pliers (I actually ended up using my fingers) to bend down the prongs so that they won’t scratch your ear when you wear them.

And that’s it! Enjoy your new pair of inexpensive pyramid stud earrings! 🙂

** Don’t wanna DIY? Faster to buy? I’ll be selling any extra pairs I made, along with many other items, in my shop Two Teaspoons coming soon. Stay tuned!
