Fabric Friday

Fabric Friday on Pretty Prudent

This Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics, Organic, Birdie Spokes Orange has come up once before, partly because it’s just so cute and happy. When I look at this fabric I see birds on orange slices, however the ‘spoke’ part of the name hints to bicycle wheels. To each his own, right? I’ve been trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my meals this week, so that could have something to do with it.

To enter for a chance to win one yard of Jay-Cyn Designs for Birch Fabrics, Mod Basics, Organic, Birdie Spokes Orange tell us what you would make with this sweet fabric. Tweet, Stumble, or share on Facebook and leave another comment letting us know. Come back every day for new entries. We’ll randomly select a winner and announce right here next Friday.

I was thinking, I can make a diaper cover with the fabric! Iโ€™m expecting a nephew next month!

Congrats! Look out for an email from us within the week.

It would be a great addition to one of the charity quilts that I resolved to make this year (12 quilts in 12 months. I’m on #4).

I have the perfect little shirt dress pattern for little girls that would work perfectly!

Ooh, it’s such a lovely color. I don’t use much orange. This would be a cute baby bib, though!

We love orange here! I think it would make a cute little throw pillow or a bright fun pop to line a jacket or a bag.

Now that is a beautiful golden orange! Yumm. It would bea perfect accent fabric for the purple/indigo quilt I am pondering!

Marjorie Nath

I would make a wall hanging. I am trying to do a series featuring all different colors so I can change the feel of each room in the house by changing the wall hangings.

This reminds me of a bicycle dress my mother made for me when I was little. It would be fun to make one similar for my daughter.

Beth T.

I am making a medallion quilt that features orange as one of the primary colors. This yardage would go beautifully!

Lisa Marie

I just love the Birdie Spokes fabric and would make a bag or pouch or both if I should win. Thanks for the chance!

Wendi Lauren Dickherber

I would make an economy block and fussy cut that bird on an orange slice. I am dying to make those blocks but as crazy as it sounds I have nothing to fussy cut lol

I also thought of bicycle wheels at first, ’till I read the title. Would love to incorporate this fabric in a quilt! ๐Ÿ™‚

I would use it to make a Noodlehead Super Tote bag – it’s nice, bright and Spring-y! Thanks for the give away!

This looks like it would match the new quilt for my daughter’s bed, so some type of accent pillow, valance, etc???

I just started making clothes for my 1 year old daughter, this would make a cute shirt or skirt!

Nicole Sender

I’m finishing some quilts that have been on my UFO list for way too many years! This fabric would work in really well with my projects.
