Candy Corn Nail Tutorial


Eeek! Halloween is almost here and Ally from Nail in the Coffee has the cutest nail tutorial just for the spooky day. You might remember her beautiful Neon and Nude nails, and her 4th of July Nail Art tutorial. Have you tried them yet? These candy corn nails are oh so sweet and use a fun matte finish. I can’t wait to try them myself!

Candy Corn Nail Art Tutorial

I’ve got the cutest halloween nail art for you today – if you need a little extra spirit this season, these candy corn nails will do the trick… or treat!

Step 1. Paint your nails yellow.

Step 2. Paint the top 2/3 of your nail orange, leaving the yellow peeking out at the back of your nail.

Step 3. Paint the tip of your nail white.

Step 4. Get that candy corn realness by topping with a Matte Topcoat.

Mmm, good enough to eat!

**Disclaimer: I do not encourage the nasty habit of biting your nails – cute as they are, your nails are not candy corn.**

And this is such a simple little mani, you just have to give it a try. Not to mention, there’s quite a bit of flexibility: You can do the colors curved, like I did, or straight across; the matte topcoat is optional; and it works on any nail shape. They’re quite attention grabbers too!
