My sisters have been giving the whole30 program a try this month, and while I can’t seem to be disciplined enough to hop on board, I have become more conscious of making healthier choices (that’s good enough, right?). We’ve also had quite a few parties lately, so Jaime, Jacinda, and I brainstormed some recipes and came up with this crowd-pleasing appetizer that still fits into my healthier alternative category. They are easy to make and were a hit on game day.

Learn how to make Sriracha Cauliflower Hot Wings after the jump…
Sriracha Cauliflower Hot Wings
1 medium head of cauliflower
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
3/4 Cup honey
2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne
Dash black pepper
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Mix flour, water, garlic, and cayenne together in a bowl.
Cut cauliflower into bite size pieces and coat in mixture.
Spread cauliflower out onto a baking sheet and cook for 30 minutes.
Heat Sriracha and honey in a saucepan at medium heat for about one minute.
Remove cauliflower from the oven and pour Sriracha and honey sauce over each piece.
Bake cauliflower for another 15 minutes.
Remove and let cool.
After I was done cooking, I made more of the Sriracha and honey sauce to pour on top, squeezed half a lime over them, and served.
What is the Whole30 Progam? Could you explain? Thanks! Love love love your blog by the way!!
Whole 30 is an elimination diet to establish whole/real food eating habits and identify “trigger” foods that could be causing health issues (like gluten, dairy, legumes). Google and you’ll find more than you ever wanted to know 🙂
This looks beautiful and sounds delicious!
