Put flowers on the table all year round with these reusable DIY Flower Napkin Rings. I’ve made napkin rings before with real flowers, and while they are gorgeous, their beauty is fleeting, which is why I decided to use fake flowers this time. They take about five whole minutes to make and turn out so pretty for spring.
Learn how to make DIY Flower Napkin Rings after the jump…
Materials:
– Fake flowers with stems
– Flower tape
– Floral wire
– Wire cutters
Pick out an assortment of flowers. I went for smaller flowers and used fake Baby’s Breath for a filler.
Choose which flowers will be your base to work around.
Remove the leaves from the stems, and cut the stems of your base flowers to about 7 inches.
Tape the stems together by wrapping them around with floral tape.
Wrap them securely.
Arrange your fillers and leaves until you have the exact look you want.
Attach your filler and leaves by taping them to the top of the stem, right below your base flowers.
Cross the two ends of your napkin ring over each other to make a circle.
Use a small piece of wire to attach the two ends together by wrapping it around and twisting the end.
Once it’s tightened, trim the end.
Wrap floral tape around the wire to cover it and secure the ends together.
Make any last adjustments.
You can reuse these for all your spring parties.
