Besides all the great night clubs and pool-side rockin’ out, you and your friends or family can participate in the Music LAB, where you learn to play instruments, make a music video, or spin like a pro DJ. So I threw on my leopard print and got into the spirit (I played the keyboard in our rendition of Sweet Home Alabama).
It was super fun. But my favorite part was definitely all the beautiful views.
Check out more fun from my hard rockin’ weekend…
The group of us journalists gathered together in the morning to go ziplining close to the hotel. There’s tons of stuff to do in the Riviera Maya area, and ziplining and cave-adventuring are two of the coolest, because you get to see the scenery of Cancun and the underground world of the Yucatan. The views are lovely.
It wasn’t a super scary zipline either. Perfect for kids.

Other than that, I mostly just enjoyed swimming in the little cove…
… and relaxing in the spa and by the pool.
The spa was amazing. They offer a musical massage called Rhythm and Motion where music plays and the bed vibrates during your massage. At first I was a little skeptical, but it was sooooo relaxing and unique.
Check out the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya if you are interested in a rock ‘n roll getaway.
