We have been keeping a little secret from y’all for a few months… we’re having a BABY here at Prudent Baby! Baby Boneau #3 is due January 11th. I’m sleepy, soooo sleepy so be prepared for 6 more months of projects that take under 5 minutes.
SO, what should we name it? Leave a comment with your favorite boy and girl name, but don’t be mad if I steal it and don’t be mad if I don’t tell you the name before it’s born, I’m totally annoying like that. But we do plan to find out the sex this time, if only so you will be inspired to send handmade gifts. I’m not kidding, send handmade gifts.
The photos are a side-by-side comparisons of Clare and Quinn at 1 day old. Isn’t it crazy how much they looked alike?Aren’t babies so cute?
They look identical! At first I thought you were showing some editing technique like a before and after! Congrats on #3!!!
Oh and my name pick for my #3 due in Nov is Finnley; we arent' finding the sex and I love that it works for both!
So great! Congrats! Funny thing is I'm due at the same time and I'm getting ready to anounce it on my blog today! LOL Can't wait for newborn DIY.
Congratulations! That is fantastic news.
Congratulations!!!! What wonderful news! How amazing that your first two looked so alike! Hmm as for names, I'll just tell you our girls' names (Sophie and Sarah) and what we would have picked for boys (Thomas and Christopher). Sophie was my grandmother's name and all other names we just liked.
Wishig you a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Congratulations! It is amazing how similar your kids looked.
This is a girl name that I don't think I'll ever use but that I recently came to love: Piper. Boy names are a challenge at this point because I have already named 2 boys of my own, but I really like Jonah.
Oh we're waiting right now for GC #4 to be born … it's exciting.
Congratulations!! How exciting! Quinn and Clare are soooo adorable, I'm sure #3 will be just as cute ๐ I'm hoping it'll be a boy so you can start adding more boy stuff tutorials!! ๐
I love the names Jude and Zach. ๐
I lean toward top 20 names, but with names like Claire and Quinn, it looks like your lean towards names that are a little less popular, but not crazy hipster names. I like them. In fact, I'd use names like that too, but my hubby nixes them fast. So, some names that I can never have:
Girl: Charlotte, La(y)ne, Kate; Boy: Quinton (I know, it probably doesn't work when you already have a Quinn, but I like it!), Kyle, Ryan, Blaine
YAY THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG!
so exciting. cant wait to start decorating your nursery! your baby means all of the fun and none of the sleepiness for me!
oh my goodness!! congrats jacinda!!! i welcome all projects that take as little effort and time as possible!!! your two lil ones do look like twins!!
Yay! My due date is the 10th! ๐
I love Amelia for a girl, but my husband is not a fan. Luka is our boy name.
btw, i like the names sophia, adelyn and julianne for a girl and tyler and dillon for a boy!
Yay! So happy for you! I love the name Margo.
How fun! Congratulations!! If I had another daughter, I'd name her Haddaseh (Haddie for short). Also, to Shelly with the Quinton/Quinn quandry (LOL, 3 Q words in a row…) We have an Ashley, a Hannah, AND an Asha… ๐
I don't really have any fav boy names.
oh my, I too thought you were doing a before and after…
I am way past ever getting to name another baby, but if I did I would use Kellan.. I tried to name one of my three that, but the hubby wouldn't agree..
Hooray! Babies are the best. Those pictures are adorable. ๐
You could put a nice Spanish name, would be a nice name and curious. No other child would be called so in your city.
Congratulations! Here are the favorite names we'll never get to use:
and you're welcome to use Audrey and Owen…
Oops! I forgot to say congratulations on the new baby.
I hope that you will be very happy!
Kisses from Spain.
I like really old names so I go to the social security website for 1900 and 1920's. My daughter is Edith and our adopted daughter will be named Eloise. I love Edwin. Elliot. (see a theme) ahha. But I also love Matilda (tilly), Eleanor, Floyd, Ralph, oh I could go on and on. ๐ I can't wait to see what you go with.
Just found this … congratulations! Your two children are beautiful! And yes, babies just inspire love from all corners!
As to names … I love Matilda too, and your beautiful Claire and Quinn are great names. Best of luck this pregnancy!
Congrats! My favorites are Liara Grace, Rhia Genevive, and Charles Arthur. Congrats again!
yea! COngrats! I have an 18 mo old cutie named Thomas (we call him Tommy) and he is named after my Dad. Such a strong, classic name! That is my pick for a boy name. As far as girl names go, I think Celia is cute- I know it looks like Cecilia, but is a nice alternative. My husband vetoed that one when we had Tommy (we didn't find out gender) and I was bummed…
Congratulations! I'm having my second baby in October! ๐ My 16 month old daughter's name is Saffron and we're having a boy and calling him Hugo. If we were having another girl we were going to call her Wembley (yes, like stadium and the Fraggle). We also liked India for a girl too.
Congratulations! Here are my favorite names at the moment. This list changes all the time. ๐ Girl: Annie, Rowan, Molly. Boy: Evan, Huck. Best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth!
Congrats on #3!!! Girls choices: Rowan, Phoenix & Ashley; Boy: Drake or Lincoln. My boy is Sterling. Would you like some hand me down – hand knits?
Our 5 month old twins (girl and boy) are named Cailin and Orion. Our 2 year old is Javier. We also liked Kieran for a boy or Olivia for a girl.
Congratulations!!! Your baby girls do look nearly identical, I can't wait to see a 3 way comparison.
My baby girl is Julia, but I also liked Jacqueline and Amelie. If Julia had been a boy, she would've been Jasper or Felix (that is if my hubby didn't have a say).
Congratulations! Names… so hard to choose! What about Nadia or Tristan?
Congratulations!!! What exciting news!! Like some other readers I'd like to see a boy this time, for the diy's ๐ hehe We're all so selfish out here…
I love Liam, Ewan and Declan for boys…and Hazel, Scarlet and Katie for girls…
So happy for you and your family!! Have a blessed and easy pregnancy!
Congratulations! You produce very cute 1 day olds, so can't wait to see photos when this one arrives (I'm so clucky at the moment – I'm due in October). I'm keeping names to myself for the time being!
What fun & exciting news! I'm a big fan of family names, especially using last or middle names as firsts. Congrats!!
Congrats! My friend's due the same day!! Names: Maxwell, Xavier, Zander, Dexter, Alexander (then nicnames can be Alex, or Zander) Girls: Lily, Yavane (I got that name from a movie:Stardust, it's the Star's name and it will be our next little girl's middle name), Sadie.
Congratulations! My favorite girl's name is Annabelle (my grandmother) and favorite boy's right now is Everett…with Simon being a close second. I also like flower names for girls but those are getting a little too trendy for my liking (Rose, Violet, Lilly).
well, if our baby#4 had been a girl, we were naming her gwen evaline. but it's a boy, so it's sawyer daniel. we think. i still have 54 days to change my mind.

I am so excited for you! I am going to hope you have a boy. I know, I know, girls are awesome, but boys are so much fun. And really easy. And dirty. But the easy part makes up for the dirt. My son's name is Zachary which I think is a lovely name. Congrats!
Congrats! And I do love quick projects since I work full time away from home!
I have a 14 month old named Haeden. If I had another boy I would go with Levi. I also like Jonah. And for a girl… I liked Haleigh and Sophia, although both are quite popular these days. And if you like unique, my name is Hesper and I get a lot of compliments!
Congratulations. I really enjoy your blog. Best of luck with #4. I'll share my son's name, in part because we really liked the name Quinn too, so perhaps we share similiar likes. And because I'm obviously partial to his name: Walton.
Congrats! Oh my, they DO look like twins. My little one looks EXACTLY like his dad did when he was little, receding hairline and all!
I love the idea of finding names similar to your own for your kids. The actors Will and Jada Smith named their kids Willow and Jaden ad I thought that was the coolest! My and my husband's names are Jason and Dawn, we named our boys Jaden and Jawan. If Jaden was going to be a girl, he would have been Jada. ๐

Oh congrats Jacinda! I'm so very happy for you and your growing family! Clearly you produce some stunning girls, so I'm going to add to the list of baby names with these suggestions–although I know you'll pick something as beautiful as the baby.
I like the name Marigold for a girl.
But wouldn't it be funny if you came up with some sort of crafty name–like Singer for a boy. Hee hee! Rowan makes me think of Rowan yarn. Whatever you choose I know will be perfect perfect perfect!

I have identical twin girls and their names are Charlotte and Ruby-Jane..
We could not decide between Ruby and Jane and decided to put them together.. though we get lazy and call her Ruby..

Your babies are beautiful! For a boy I like Palmer. For a girl I like Evangeline (call her vangie for short) Congratulations!
Congrats!! Our new little man is named Kian so obviously that's the best boy name out there! ๐
Had he been a girl he would have been Ella.
Your little ones are ADORABLE!
I love Olivia, Audrey and Caley (Kayleigh, Caleigh — there are so many ways to spell it). Oh, and Caitlin…and Emma.
Patrick (not to be confused with Rick, or maybe to be confused with Rick…), Eoin, Cormac.
I have an afflication for the Irish, and girl names, apparently.
