Seeds from 1 small – medium size pumpkin – approximately 1 cup
1 tablespoon melted butter or oil of choice
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie seasoning
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
Separate pumpkin seeds from “guts”
(optional) You can rinse seeds clean and pat mostly dry with paper towel
Combine sugar and pumpkin pie seasoning
Toss the seeds with the melted butter and sugar mixture
Spread in a single layer on a foil covered cookie sheet
Bake for 45 minutes or until crunchy, be careful not to burn
