Warmer temps have finally hit Dallas, in fact today was the one day we could wear jeans and a t-shirt and tomorrow it will be Summer. I kid, mostly, but in no time the fabrics of choice will be light as air voiles and cotton lawns like this Robert Kaufman, London Calling, COTTON LAWN, Baby’s Breath Bright. I’m thinking a simple raw edge Summer scarf or a breezy pair of sleep shorts. Which would you make?
At long last I got my hands on Rashida Coleman-Hale’s Tsuru, which is briskly selling out. Pick it up here at fabricworm. Clare has her eyes on these beauties for a maxi dress. I know y’all requested that tute on Facebook. Is it time? What other projects would you like us to make? Leave a comment here!
I’m playing around with combining Art Gallery, Urban Mod and Alexander Henry Mecca for Moderns for a quilt in my bedroom. Do you like these together? I go back and forth. Such a big decision!
Humor me while I show a few new samples of my own fabrics. I’m in love with this yardage of Texas Modern Herringbone Pink. What should I make with it?
And I already know these luxuriously soft knits in Texas Modern Stripes and Sunset are going to find themselves on comfy little girl this Summer.
And lastly my Texas Modern Big Roses which needs a purpose in life. What should it be?
Help me with your wise advice in the comments. It’ time to sew!
Lovely Fabric! Spring is here 🙂
Would love a maxi dress tutorial to use on a voile Orr lawn fabric!! N what a great idea about a raw edge scarf… Haven’t made that yet! Love the rose fabric!
