1. A playroom for all kiddie messes, like the unfinished room in our house in vermont, which literally transformed every few weeks – from the paint on the wall (my favorite was the pink phase) to the puffy paint on the floors.
2. an open kitchen, because food is where the party’s at
3. furniture by ANYTHING other than ikea (someday i hope to afford better)
4. a sewing machine and the time to use it (oh and the skills to use it right)
5. family portraits, pictures, and kiddie art tastefully creating a hallway mosaic
6. and while i’m at it, i’ll throw in a japanese water garden out back
