Giveaway: Hoot Design Co Alphabet Print!

You can’t go wrong with an alphabet print in the nursery, and this beautiful take from Hoot Design Co. is one of my absolute favorites. The artist, Kristen Brown, created a unique custom print for her nephew (the first baby to be born in their family) and people started asking her to make more. Pretty soon she was able to leave her job as an art director at an ad agency in Chicago and become a full time artist! Wouldn’t that be amazing??

For this giveaway, one lucky reader will get one 18 x 26, SIMPLY BABY PRINT signed by Kristen in their choice of one of these three color palettes:

The Jill (girl), The Jacob (boy), and The Julian (neutral)

So to enter, we want to know what you would do if you could quit your day job and follow a dream like Kristen. I’ll start: I would most definitely be a travel writer and fly first class all over the world to see everything everywhere. Maybe I would host the new version of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and tell everyone to have “champagne wishes and caviar dreams”…

Visit the Hoot Design Co store and add her blog to your reader and leave another comment for an additional entry. Share the giveaway on facebook by clicking “like” below, or tweet the giveaway, then leave another comment each time letting us know for an additional entry. Entries will close at midnight July 7th and a winner will be randomly selected.

Well, I'm a SAHM to 3 boys with a little girl on the way so I wouldn't quit my job but when they are older, my dream would be to focus more on my creativity side. I love photography, party planning and sewing baby things; my "dream" would be to open a baby/maternity boutique!

I'd love to be a scout for movie locations. Oh, and can I visit Ghislaine's sewing lounge?
What a great giveaway!

If I were to quit my day job and do anything, (other than sitting at home on my bum ;-D) I would want to become a Doula or midwife. I'm passionate about Mother/child bonds and the process of natural birth.

I would quit my job and have my own photography business as my full time job. I would be doing what I love and get to spend more time with my little boy!

I am a stay at home mom and wouldn't quit that for all the money in the world but I am torn wishing I had time for my two other loves creating/ sewing and photography. Ever since my daughter was born I feel like I never have time for other things.

I DID quit my job to be exactly what I want to be: a stay-at-home mamma, and I couldn't be happier with the decision. Teaching was fun and good and happy, but this is BETTER. And for now, the idea of "working" in any sort of money-making kind of way makes me cringe.

I am now a stay at home mom, but I would love to have the time to write a book (or books). Mysteries and children's books would be my desire.

And since I don't have a day job any more, I guess I am already "living the dream". My dream was always to be a wife and a mom and stay at home…that's what I'm doing!! I did quit my day job to do this and I love it. If I could change anything, I would add a bit of my old job back in to my life, a little floral design would be nice on the side!

I would do nothing at all !!!!!! Well, just lie in the grass reading books or magazine, then crafting a lot, and especially crafting with my children, and definitely travel a lot !

I guess I have several dream jobs. I'd love to open a bookstore – smaller, cozier, and more interesting than the giant booksellers. Working in a bakery would be fabulous, too. And I've always wanted to go to law school. For now, though, I think I'll stick with being a homemaker, an expectant mommy, a piano teacher, and a volunteer tutor. ๐Ÿ™‚

I am already living my dream job…a full time mom. I was lucky enough to quit my day job when my son (now 1 1/2) was born.

I think this picture is so fun! I love the colors she chose!

If I could, I'd love to become a full-time knitwear designer. I'm working on that dream, but it's hard going, especially with my little one taking most of my energy.

I think this print would be great for my girl's new "big girl" room!

If I quit my day job (and won the lottery) I would buy a beautiful tropical resort and visit frequently with family and friends!

My dream job would be to travel the world as a photographer for National Geographic. But as a mother of 2 young children, I'd settle for dream #2 – opening my own bakery.

My day job is pretty good, I'm a freelance writer and stay at home mom to one munchkin….but…. I would love to open a coffee shop/children's bookstore where families could lounge, read together and sip yummy cafe au laits!

Oh gosh — I dream of quitting my job to stay home and take care of our two kiddies, ideally with help a couple of hours a day to free me up to work on our blog or get in a workout at the gym or ooh! maybe a blow-out! I've never had one of those — and pursue photography professionally.

I'm not sure what I would do, I have thought of becoming and pediatric nurse. Although I am very happy to be home with my 4 babies!

I would quit my day job in a millisecond and set about writing that novel I haven't gotten around to yet.

I'd love to be a book editor or that person that works FOR the book editor reading through and weeding through books submitted for publication. ๐Ÿ™‚
