Best books for under 2

Inspired by Jaime’s great list of Scarlet’s favorite books at 1, here is a list of Clare’s favorite books but I’ll go with age 12-24 months just to mix things up. When I pulled her “best books” together in a pile I was surprised to see how many were classics. Take a look at the list after the jump and let us know what we’re missing from your favorites!

Quick tip: Baby’s Breath Bouquet

I’m sure you stylish ladies have seen this before but I just love the way a bouquet of Baby’s Breath looks all on it’s own. The next time you get some flowers with tufts of this white stuff, try it in it’s own vase for a modern look. Or just pick up a bunch like we did today. It’s a great deal and lasts forever! Well, not forever but a really long time.

Guest Post: Asia from The Design Pocket shares a color-your-own Seder plate for Passover!

Asia Says: My 21 month old daughter, Eliette, is officially obessed with coloring, which is great, because I love to draw her cute pictures for us to color together. She had such a great time with the color-your-own-Valentines, I thought I’d try it again and draw up something for Passover, which is just around the corner. Passover has always been one of my favorite Jewish holidays, and one of my fondest pre-school memories (yes, I actually remember that long ago) was learning about the Seder plate. I created a fun coloring page illustrating each item on the plate, which can be downloade here. I hope your little ones have as much fun with this as Elie!
xoxo, Asia

Jaime says: It’s so great to find something this cute to celebrate and teach about the Jewish holidays. You can download the Seder plate coloring page here! And visit Asia’s blog for more cute ideas here: The Design Pocket!
