Giveaway: Book Journal from Ex Libris Anonymous

I’m pretty excited about this next giveaway. It’s a recycled book journal from Ex libris anonymous!

This has been my notebook of choice for the past few years AND they make great gifts. The covers are from recycled hardcover books and the pages are a mix of actual book pages and blank white sheets. All spiral bound for a nice flat surface!

I’m not sure which journal we are giving away, it’s on it’s way in the mail, but I’m sure it will be cool because the entire collection is always excellently curated!

Here’s how it works:

Just leave a comment telling us how you use a journal: list-making? Drawing? Writing? I usually have a mix going on, with a sprinkling of random children’s drawings.

Feel free to spread the word on Facebook, Twitter or your blog and if you do, leave another comment here for an extra chance to win!

On Wednesday, December 23rd at Midnight CT, we will close comments and select a winner using Random.org

And don’t forget to enter all of the current giveaways listed up there in the right corner! There are some amazing prizes including a gorgeous SucculentLOVE Centerpiece Kit. GO GO GO!

Handmade Hanukkah Day 6: Embroidery Hoop Mobile

I’m taking a little break from Handmade Hanukkah today.  What can I say, eight days is a long time, it’s a little hard to keep up!  But I see from the comments on Jacinda’s Handmade Home Giveaway post that I’m not the only one, there are at least 150 more moms with unfinished holiday projects, and that makes me feel better.  So Scarlet enjoy your new boots from Old Navy.  And readers, enjoy this adorable DIY modern mobile from Creative Jewish Mom.  Made with embroidery hoops and felt, could it be any cuter?  Get her full DIY mobile instructions here!

Giveaway: SucculentLOVE Centerpiece!

How gorgeous is this?  Featured on Daily Candy, ReadyMade, CNBC, The Knot magazine, and at the Unique LA show, SucculentLOVE designs are all the rage.  As beautiful as flowers but they live forever, and even better, they come packaged as a cute kit -including the gorgeous planter- for you and your little one to assemble together.  A little dose of modern lovely for your home!

For the Prudent Baby Craft Bazaar and Holiday Giveaway Bonanza we are giving away one Round.About SucculentLOVE kit, including the gorgeous cement planter, the plants, the soil, and everything you need to care for your creation.  It even comes with a photo and step by step instructions on how to assemble.  And because it’s designed by Kelly, you know it is stunning.  It will arrive after the holidays, a little new year’s treat!

You don’t need to have a green thumb to give this luscious SucculentLOVE kit a home, but you do need to live in the US.

Just leave a comment telling us your funniest black-thumb moment.  For example, once I grew a tomato.  A single tomato.  It was supposed to be cherry tomatoes on a vine.  I cared for it all season.  It grew one tiny cherry tomato and I made my husband cut it in half and eat it with me on a bed of greens.  I called it a salad.

Spread the word on Facebook, Twitter or your blog and if you do, leave another comment here letting us know for an extra chance to win!

On Tuesday, December 22nd at midnight CT we will close the entries and select a winner using Random.org.

And don’t forget to enter all the current giveaways listed up there in the right corner, including the M Sartin neck cuff which ends at midnight tonight!

Giveaway Winner: Yard Fauna Letterpress Cards

We have a winner for the Yard Fauna Letterpress Cards from Krank Press!

Congrats to Marie, who said:
“Love the calendars – I’m an avid (vegetable) gardener and those are great!
We have voles. Not moles, but voles. They look kind of like field mice, but they run along the edges of our fence and burrow in holes by our bushes. Weirdest little pest I had never heard of till we lived at our current address.
As always, thanks for the great DIYs and crafty posts :)”

Thanks Marie! We need your shipping info. Please shoot us a message using the Contact Us link.

For everyone else, don’t be sad if you didn’t win this time because there are 2 other great giveaways going on right now. Take a peek in the upper right corner and enter away!

FYI-This is a vole. Kinda cute. Maybe they will be the next squirrel and be all over ETSY in a year!!

Giveaway: Handmade Home

This giveaway is a book straight from my very own wishlist!! A copy of Handmade Home: Simple Ways to Repurpose Old Materials into New Family Treasures.

We’ve heard great things and thought it would be fun to give away a copy to one lucky Prudent Mama (although you don’t have to be a Mama, or even a girl, or even prudent to win!) But you do have to live in the US.

Just leave a comment telling us which of your holiday projects you just didn’t get to this year. I ask because I want to feel better about ordering Christmas cards and having them over-nighted rather than making them myself. I’m feeling really guilty and disappointed in myself. So let it spill. What fell through the cracks?

Feel free to spread the word on Facebook, Twitter or your blog and if you do, leave another comment here for an extra chance to win!

On Friday, December 18th at Midnight CT, we will close comments and select a winner using Random.org

And don’t forget to enter all of the current giveaways listed up there in the right corner! The Yard Fauna Notecard Giveaway ends at Midnight tonight. Just a few hours left!!
